This is an amazingly simple routine but, don’t let its effectiveness fool you. There are 3 parts to ensure you get the maximum benefit and lose as much weight as possible. This will support you the most when used in conjunction with any of the Best Body programs available at

This routine is meant to be performed first thing in the morning. Timing is everything when you are working to maximize your results. This can still support you if it’s not done in the morning but, you will be missing out on optimizing hormones, fat loss and creating daily momentum.

Part 1: The Rapid Detox Drink

When you first wake up in the morning, it’s the best time to prime your body to burn the most fat, create the environment to build the most lean muscle and detox your body. Since you have gone through the evening fasted, it’s important to drink 16 ounces of fresh spring or filtered water immediately upon waking.

Next, you want to drink a concoction of these ingredients:

  • 8 ounces of luke warm water
  • Juice of a fresh squeezed whole or half lemon
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper (organic if possible)
  • 1-2 tablespoons of raw unfiltered organic apple cider

Make sure you use fresh spring water or filtered water for this drink and stay away from tap water if at all possible. Do not use the fake lemon concentrate drink you can buy at the grocery store. If needed, you can substitute a lime instead of lemon.

Add all of the ingredients together and stir gently. Drink it as soon as you are done mixing. Feel free to drink a little more water or brush your teeth after your drink. It may not be the best tasting beverage but, it’s a very powerful anti-inflammatory, detox and fat burning tool.

Part 2: The Best Natural Fat Loss Supplements

There are a ton of different weight loss supplements that people suggest you take. Every body is different and will respond differently as well. What I recommend has been tried and true by myself and all my clients.

Here are the 3 top weight loss supplements that may not have ever been explained as such:

CLA – Conjugated Linoleic Acid is found mostly in beef and dairy from grass fed animals. It’s one of the most comprehensively studied weight loss supplements in the world.

It has been shown to increase fat burning, reduce overall food intake, inhabit the production of fat cells and stimulate fat burning in healthy adults.

You should aim to to take between 1,000 – 2000mg twice daily. Once in the morning and once in the evening. You can take up to three times a day if you feel it necessary. I always recommend starting with 1,000mg and working your way up. This gives you room to increase your dose if need be.

Buffered Vitamin C – This is one of the most common vitamins and powerful antioxidants known to man.

The buffered version is powerful because it’s not as acidic as the regular vitamin C. This allows you to take more and not affect your gastrointestinal tract or cause stomach problems.

You should aim to take 1,000 – 1,500mg first thing in the morning with your CLA. It’s a natural diuretic and supports your body on so many levels including immune health and reducing toxins.

Powdered Green Drinks – Eating and consuming green vegetables is one of the absolute best ways to cleanse, detoxify and alkalize your body. Disease cannot thrive in an alkaline environment.

Everything you do just works better when you can reduce acids and toxins in your system. Your body can recover quicker, burn more fat, optimize hormones, have a stronger immune response and so much more!

The best time to take this is after fasted cardio in the morning. If you don’t do cardio, you can take it with your lemon water.

Part 3: Fasted Cardio

There have been many debates about cardio in general. The experts will always change their opinion as to which time is better and what works better. Through my own personal experience and my clients experience, it seems that morning fasted cardio works the best.

Fasted means nothing to eat before you exercise, which is why the morning is the best time. You also need to avoid high calorie drinks and sugars. You can drink water, coffee, tea or lemon water as outlined above. I would suggest to plan on doing your cardio first thing in the morning before you get busy with work, family or any daily projects.

You should aim for about 20 minutes of cardio if you are doing HIIT, or 25 minutes of steady state cardio to get the most benefit. HIIT is High Intensity Interval Training. Visit and see our blog section for a full detailed description on how to do HIIT appropriately.

If you are going to do steady state cardio training, that means you will choose whatever machine you like and continue at a consistent pace for the duration of the workout. It’s always a good idea to do a warm-up and cool-down with your cardio. 2 minutes in the beginning and end will be enough.

Make sure you are stretched to avoid injury and rotate machines so you don’t do the same thing all of the time. I would start with 3 days per week and work your way to more as you get more in tune with your body and how you respond. You should not have to go over more than 5 days per week but, some people become addicted to how they feel and do cardio every day.

If you do cardio on a daily basis now, I recommend at least 3 days per week of fasted HIIT cardio. You should also incorporate what you’ve learned here in this program.

I understand that morning cardio might be inconvenient for some but, you can find ways to make it work. You may have to set your alarm for an earlier time and go to bed earlier. If you apply everything that was mentioned here, you will set yourself up for amazing results! Everybody is different, and the amount of weight you lose will depend on your commitment and body type.
